Ingrevia Privacy Policy
Effective date: 12 July 2026
Ingrevia helps users scan product barcodes and review public product information. This policy explains what information the app processes and where it goes.
Information sent for product lookups
When you scan or manually enter a barcode, Ingrevia sends the barcode number directly to Open Food Facts and Open Beauty Facts. Standard network information, including your IP address, is necessarily visible to those services. Product images load over HTTPS from approved Open Food Facts and Open Beauty Facts image servers.
Ingrevia does not send camera images, scan history, dietary preferences, chemical filters, or calculated scores to those services.
Information stored on your device
Preferences, consent state, and up to 200 scan-history entries are stored locally. Product lookup responses are cached locally for up to seven days. Anonymous lookup reliability diagnostics are stored as aggregate counters and do not contain barcodes or product responses. You can clear history, cache, and diagnostics from the app. Uninstalling Ingrevia removes its local data.
Camera
Camera access is used only to recognize barcodes. Ingrevia does not record or store camera photos or video.
Sharing
Ingrevia uses the operating system share sheet only when you choose Share. The selected destination receives the product analysis text you explicitly share.
Advertising, analytics, and accounts
Ingrevia has no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, account system, or cloud synchronization service. Local diagnostics leave the device only if you explicitly share them.
Third-party services
Children
Ingrevia is a general-audience product information tool and is not designed to collect personal information from children.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected in this policy and its effective date.
